New Experience holidays can be booked on a land only basis or with flights included. When booking on a flight inclusive basis, New Experience holidays complies with our responsibilities under the ATOL regime. For all packages (flight inclusive or not) we comply with the Package Travel and Linked Travel Regulations 2018. In the event of significant change to travel plans by an airline, we are responsible for ensuring that you can complete your journeys in a reasonable timeframe and without additional cost to yourself. Flight Costs and Supplements
Flight inclusive prices include return flights from a London airport and UK departure tax. Our flights inclusive holiday prices include a base price for the flights, however this is always subject to availability at the time of booking as airfares are outside of our control. Where the cost of flights is higher than this base price, a flight supplement may be applicable; your sales consultant will be able to advise you if this is the case.
Prices are based on typical mid week flights from London. When you wish to book a holiday with flights we research all the available flights (scheduled, charter and no frills) from your most convenient airports and give you an individual quotation.Mid week travel is often cheaper than weekends, and obviously avoiding school holidays can make flights cheaper.
All our quotations include one piece of checked in luggage per person.
Charter Airlines
We offer seats on most charter airlines which are often the best way to fly from your local airport.No Frills Airlines
We offer flights on most no frills airlines and include them in all our flight searches. They are adding routes all the time and we monitor this. There are a few small airlines which we believe are not financially secure enough to base a holiday booking on and we would advise you of those.Scheduled Airlines
We offer flights on all scheduled airlines. We can also arrange business class travel. We are especially pleased to offer British Airways flights to a number of our destinations.ATOL
For flight-based holidays this is through our Air Travel Organiser’s Licence number 2582 issued by the CAA of 45-59 Kingsway London WC2B 6TE www.caa.co.uk. When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong. We will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where we aren’t able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).
If we are unable to provide the services listed (or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme. You agree that in return for such a payment or benefit you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims which you have or may have arising out of or relating to the non-provision of the services, including any claim against us, the travel agent (or your credit card issuer where applicable). You also agree that any such claims may be re-assigned to another body, if that other body has paid sums you have claimed under the ATOL scheme.
The price of any flight-inclusive holiday includes the amount of £2.50 per person as part of the ATOL Protection Contribution (APC) we pay to the CAA. This charge is included in our advertised prices.
Book Your Own Flights
You can choose to arrange your own flights, but we are obliged to make you aware that if there is any change in the flights or cancellation in advance of travel e.g. the airline collapses, any industrial action, weather disruption including volcanic ash, the airline changing the day or time of your flight, we have no responsibility for the impact on the rest of the holiday, nor any responsibility in returning you to the UK. The holiday and flight booking are independent transactions and normal cancellation/amendment charges will apply as per booking conditions should any amendments have to be made. Also, financial protection will not be covered by ATOL which includes air repatriation but by ABTA which only covers the land element.
When you buy a package holiday that doesn’t include a flight, protection is provided by way of a bond held by ABTA – The Travel Association 30 Park Street London SE1 9EQ www.abta.co.uk
We strongly recommend that you make no travel arrangements to your point of departure, make any connecting travel that is non-refundable or non-changeable or incurs penalties or incur any costs in respect of visas or vaccinations until such time as your travel itinerary has been confirmed. If you make such arrangements which you are then unable to use due to a change in your itinerary we shall not be liable to you for the cost of those arrangements.
